Crime 276,000 Methamphetamine Pills Seized Hidden in Car Tyres
Picture courtesy of Workpoint. Highway police in Phitsanulok have seized more than 276,000 methamphetamine tablets hidden in car tyres, foiling a drug smuggling attempt. The operation began on 24 August when Highway Police Division 3, in coordination with the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, received intelligence about a suspicious Mazda pickup truck transporting drugs from Uttaradit Province towards Den Chai District. At 17:40, officers stopped the vehicle at a checkpoint on Highway 11, kilometre 234.5, in Ban Pa Subdistrict. Police noted that the spare tyre appeared unusually soft and heavy. Upon inspection at a nearby tyre shop, they discovered 138 plastic-wrapped bundles, each containing 2,000 methamphetamine tablets, for a total of 276,000 pills. The four occupants of the vehicle were arrested: • Mr Attasit, 48, driver • Mr Premsak, 39 • Mrs Woraporn, 34 • Miss Nisa, 27 All four confessed to transporting the drugs for an unidentified employer for a payment of 50,000 baht. The contraband had been collected from the Fuang Fu Kit Hotel in Wiang Pa Pao District, Chiang Rai and was destined for Chonburi Province. Authorities praised the vigilance of highway officers for intercepting the shipment and confirmed that the suspects have been taken into custody pending further investigation. I think American democracy is already dead and under Vance the republicans won't give up the total power that Trump delivered. There will be elections, but just show elections to gain fake legitimacy as in other authoritarian countries. Also keep in mind that Vance's mentor Thiel who bought him a senate seat has an explicit anti-democracy philosophy.
