Hi,

I used to have a Nokia E71 where I used Garmin with a map of Thailand which worked pretty well.

Is there any solution for GPS on blackberry? I can use google maps but it will not give me turn by turn directions...

Anyone got a solution to this?

Yes, there is a Garmin solution for the Blackberry. It's a special version of Garmin Mobile XT for the Blackberry only.
