The page that I assume to be the one for on-line reservations on the State Railway website (the 'Available Seat' tab) currently states:

401 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.

Another poster had reported a breakage in the reservations link for at least a month.

Has anyone successfully booked on-line recently?

The reason why it is out of order I don't know, but indeed the link does not work any more.

I asked about this in the station at Khon Kaen, the man said he had no idea either.

Just go the nearest trainstation and book for the future.

You can book 2nd class sleepers on www.thairailwayticket.com, for some reason you still can't book first class sleepers on the site?
