We all know this but the New Times article made me to pursue a long standing wish=

I want a standing desk for computer and other work. I want for that and similar jobs a carpenter.

No Lanna style, someone who produces based on simple outlines something nice and with craftsmanship.

Do you know one?

We have had a couple of pieces of wooden furniture made to order from photographs at Baan Tawai. You should have no problem getting it done there and then delivered (even if you want it made out of plywood vice solid wood).

I've had furniture made from simple drawings at Mookalin Furniture, on the Chiangmai - Hod road before Hang Dong.

thought the op was wanting to do a comedy routine @ first, looking at the title

anyway , i have a suggestion if you want to get out of yr chair while at the computer;

get a swiss ball

i somrtimes use it while sitting in front of the computer for long periods

great for strengthening core muscles and helping yr balance plus it might reduce yr waistline

not too good if you have been drinking thou! :)

Sawasdee Khrup, Khun Donnyboy,

Sounds like a good idea; seen a source for a "Swiss ball" in CM ? Be very curious to see a video of how you use your "Swiss ball" while sitting in front of the computer (as long as it's not pornographic).

thanks, ~o:37;

Be advised, watch the vid on mute only :)

A very good article, and yes, it is true. Wen you're sitting for hours you also bring your intestines position and natural flow out of balance leading to far more complication as you can think.

Good idea, donnyboy. At my age I get swelling in the feet if I sit too long at the computer.
