Perhaps you can tell me ...do you allow dogs to stay (with owners of course)?

If yes then are they allowed on the island of Koh Samet?

Look forward to your reply.

Hi, I'm a dog lover. But afraid we dont allow dogs with guests we got kids around the place that would probably sh.t themselves as well as some asians that stay here.

My sincere apologies.

As for Koh Samet I dont think so but I'll ask around and get back to you

Thanks for your reply Mark and I would suspect the Asians would do as you say.

Even though my two dogs are well trained and on leads under my control all Thai's are always frightened and cross the road rather than walk past us. Even though they are probably then walking past a scruffy smelly (possibly rabid) Thai street dog.

I suppose I ought to point out that they are German Shepherds as you can see from my Avatar of course.

Thanks anyway mate

Ive lived in quite a few asian countries over the last 14 years and they all seem timid over dogs. yr right the amount of soi dogs around drives u nuts and they can be dangerous. However seen many asians now taking up the small breed dogs (maybe a status thing) and sticking in the baskets on their motor bikes.

Well if yr ever around the place drop in i'll buy u a beer

Hi Mark

I just saw your posting on having your March special. March is over shortly!!! The Supreme Leader, (She who must be obeyed) and I are planning on taking a beach holiday in April. What are your plans for April?

We are actually just starting to compile a list of holiday destinations. Our plan is to live in one location and then every month or 2 or 3 take off for a mini holiday. So we are looking at beach possibilities first. We want to do this for the next 5 years to determine where we want to live full time.

We do not have a vehicle. So if we were to bus .... how do we get to your hotel?

cheers

Well check out our website if you havnt already done it www bedrockguesthousebargrill com or www banphe org. Well if you get the aircon bus from Ekamai bus station on Sukhumvit Rd in BKK you just take the bus direct to ban phe. Bedrock is about 300 metres east of the bus station both of which are on the main beach road. It takes about 4 hours as the bus is kind stop start milk run kinda thing. Other than that from Kao San Rd you can get a minibus into Ban Phe. Which will put you about 900 metres from Bedrock. Other suggestion is you get a taxi to Ban Phe but its a bit costly around 2500 baht +-. Anyway when u get into Ban Phe just give me a call and we will send our limo to pick u up (motor bike with side car :) ) Our Website also has a map u can print out.

As April is Songkran month you will need to book asap.

Let me know if you need more info!!!! Our rates in April will go back to normal rate of 750 Baht per night but if your stay is a lengthy one we will throw in breakfast in the room rate. That is Thai or western breakfast.

Note we also rent motor bikes out if u need. Have free wifi, pool table, we are close to the piers to go to Samet Island. We have Satellite tv in our outdoor area and in the bar for news or sports. In the aircon rooms we have TV and DVD player and plenty of movies to choose from.

Hi Mark,

I have my plane ticket in hand, wishing I could be there tomorrow. We'll see you & Aom on the 30th probably some time around mid-day. Flying to Bkk from P-lok in the morning, then whatever driving time there is from DM. We will plan to check out on the 5th.

Cheers,

Spee
