sorensen
How fast is the lift/Elevator in your building? Rules: - 20 vertical floors - Times start when the floor bottom is pressed. Doors open position, but OK to use the "close doors" bottom. - Time stops when the doors start opening at the 20th floor. First test: Royal Regent 1 = 43.96 seconds
mmushr00m
Mines only a 12 storey. The openning and closing of the doors take ages. I mean you walk up a floor for the time it takes for the doors to open and close. But once it gets going you can actually feel the G force. ScubaBuddha
This one does 3 stories in about 9 seconds, but it can fit a couple of F-18's and still have room for the fat guy that lives in 3C.
sorensen
Witthayu Complex 20 floors = 27.25 sec.
bkkjames
It varies in my office building depending on how many people are getting off between floors. What really throws it out is when people who actually want to go down press both buttons and get on even if the lift is going up. Thankfully the accompanying blank look of surprise that it's going up / not down doesn't affect the speed.
