Visa And One Way Ticket...

Featured Replies

Hello,

Just want a bit of advice to make sure I am on the right tracks. Im planning on coming to Thailand in Sept for maybe a year or two. I have a one way ticket from heathrow to bkk with Finn air. I am planning on getting an immigrant O visa from Thai consulate in Hull. I have heard rumours about people with one way tickets being turned back at bkk, and also if the type of visa I have can effect this. Any advice would be appreciated.

Regards....

If you have a visa you are not going to be refused entry for not having a return ticket.

Agreed, no problems with a one-way and a visa.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"

the airlines can refuse to carry you also, they wear the expense of returning you with all associated costs

When they ask anything, just smile, say your moving to Thailand to/with your wife/girlfriend and look like your in-love, and no-one will ever question you.

Just don't come late to the airport, pay the ticket in cash and have an arabian look...

No problem at all cause I always buy one way only and so far do not have any problem.(I been travelling in and out for 9 month)
