Currently i am holding Non-B Visa and a Work Permit. My spouse also has a Non-B Visa/Work permit. If either of us lose job, can we convert change Visa to Non-O (from the present Non-:) without leaving Thailand ?????

Later when we find a new job here, can we re-convert back from Non-O to Non-B status (again without leaving Thailand) ???

Someone please advise on this. thanks

You don't change your visa, but change your reason for staying in Thailand from work to being a dependent of your spouse. No need to leave Thailand for that.

Your spouse will need to be on an extension of stay based on work.

If I am not wrong, you need at least 21 days to get that extension.... and you can get only 7 days when work permit and and so visa are canceled.

No. The 21 days are required to convert from a tourist visa or visa exempt entry to a non-immigrant visa. In the OP case he is not converting, but changing the reason to stay. (He already has a non-immigrant visa).

Edit:

When his work permit is cancelled, his permission to stay is cancelled. he can than ask or an extension of stay for 7 days or ask directly for an extension of stay based on being dependent of his wife.
