Hello

Does anyone know if you can buy airline tickets from and to Thailand that you can cancel with low cancellation fees (1000B or less)?

My answer to your question is no, but if you quiz any agent you will find AN answer but it may not be a true answer.

Recently I saw that agencies often rip off clients with false fee amounts. The aircline charges X and the agent charges cliennt XX.

I also gleaned that there is no such thing as loosing your total fare for cancellation. The IATA people might be your next step? :)

jet airways are not charging for changing return date and their tickets are valid 6 month. Each consequtive change of date is some 1500baht + possible charges for the fare.

still a good deal, comparing to the other airlines.

another option, but more expensive, is an open ticket (up to 1 year) from any airline.

the best is to travel when you know already your approximate dates and be flexible with them, the routes and the airline
