stagger
It is the same for me with Firefox, I updated all Javascript and Flash programmes but would still not work, so downloaded Google Chrome and "Hey Presto" works like a charm. I do not think it is the fault of Firefox more likely the Web Designer did not make the site compatible with Firefox.

up-country_sinclair
Despite living here for more than a few years, I still really can't get over how a rape victim's name and photo are published in the newspaper. If I had to guess, I don't think this woman had any idea that these photos would end up in the paper or on the internet.
sharecropper
Ob Topic. Tourist, huh I though those Russian girls had their own "protection". Not wishing to detract from the seriousness of the assault, I also had the same thought about the victim's tourist status.
Rimmer
Sorry for the off topic response. I use Firefox 3.6 which reads the text but shows no pictures. For PDN articles I use Chrome which shows text and pictures.

FarangBuddha
I've got the same problem loading PDN pages using FF 3.6. I also have problems editing posts and post replies on this forum using FF. I can't edit the quoted text areas when replying. As to the rape...unfortunate but not unexpected. This happens regularly with foreign female tourists...remember the British girls a couple years ago. You never see a Thai woman taking a moto-taxi at nite and our foreign female guests would do well to emulate them.

Hobgoblin
It is the same for me with Firefox, I updated all Javascript and Flash programmes but would still not work, so downloaded Google Chrome and "Hey Presto" works like a charm.I do not think it is the fault of Firefox more likely the Web Designer did not make the site compatible with Firefox. I use Firefox and I have no issues viewing the site. As a web programmer, I checked the source of the site, and see it's XHTML-compliant and their use of jQuery makes their Javascript code cross-browser compatible. I'd check any Firefox plugins you employ, especially if you are running quite a few. It's not unheard of for certain plugins to "clash" with others and compromise your browsing experience. NanLaew
Ob Topic. Tourist, huh I though those Russian girls had their own "protection". Not wishing to detract from the seriousness of the assault, I also had the same thought about the victim's tourist status. "Not wishing to detract from the seriousness..." BS. What bizarre thought process leads you to ponder ANY foreigners qualifications to call themselves a tourist in Pattaya? Your view: Russian girl + Walking Street = Slapper. That's right eh? I am more concerned that this is one of the fine, upstanding, hard-working motocy taxi guys that City Hall has enlisted in it's recently publicized drive against crime. Maybe she should have used a baht bus?

What bizarre thought process leads you to ponder ANY foreigners qualifications to call themselves a tourist in Pattaya? Your view: Russian girl + Walking Street = Slapper. That's right eh? Whatever. Some people are more streetwise and street-observant than others. I am more concerned that this is one of the fine, upstanding, hard-working motocy taxi guys that City Hall has enlisted in it's recently publicized drive against crime. I am shocked by your cynical view of these hard working motorbike drivers.
