Im in Pattaya and on the market for a good second hand engine for an old classic Merc car i have, it currently has a very unpowerful and very smokey nissan 2800cc diesel engine so i think i better replace it with anything more powerful as at the moment you put your foot down and and the only thing that really happens is you get a bunch of smoke out the rear and going up a slight incline is like torture .

Anyone any ideas on what i could put in and what i should pay for a second hand engine fitted and where is best place to find one in the Pattaya area.Im on a budget!

If i cant get an engine then anyone know a good diesel mechanic who could sort out the smoke problem as the boys in brown wont be too impressed if they see it.

Lastly might need a good second hand front seat.....any ideas where to get one or 2.

Assuming it's black smoke...... Check out the injectors before going the full route..
