Does anyone know what a good deal with Eva Air would be, for Vancouver-Bangkok, including taxes, in high season?

etihad are 330 from LHR or 270 from MAN.

What direct?

Just checked their site and 5th April returning 31st May best 'Special price" was 509 pounds with 8 hours stop over in AD

From London only EVA, Thai, BA and Quantas fly direct.

Etihad go via Abu Dhabi, Emirates via Dubai, Qatar via Doha.

Bangkok to Lhr with the same airline you can double them prices :)

Actually no!

I got a BKK - LHR return with EVA for 30,750 baht travelling May - June. Still more expensive, but cheaper than anything else I saw. (internet booking)

it's a songran and not that remore date, as well as almost 2 months stay.

look for the dates later and stay up to 1 month, youl will likely find cheaper, around £400.

also going to the travel agent specialising in London-Bkk flights will save you money. They will search all possible deals, airlines and dates to give you the best quatation

High season prices this year are certainly that...high. LHR/BKK return £780 for my dates in August on Eva Air, Cheapest Jet Airways or Air India, thanks but no thanks @£600. Quite a bit of space available at those prices so I'll keep watching, if they don't fill em there might be some late bargains. :) Plus anything can happen given the street chaos in LOS.

I'd just booked premium economy (elite class) on eva for £759 the yesterday to travel in early june leaving from Lhr, happy with the deal :)

Been using Jane at Save flight Travel for 5 years (they are now forum sponsers), I paid 28,500 for travel in June BKK-LHR this year with EVA

Very happy with their service and prices :D

I would be interested to know what date (approx) you made this booking and how many seats you bought. When I saw my agent 3 weeks ago they phoned EVA and were told that this offer was only available for couples.

No, I live in Thailand but three of my friends did. Sure, it's probably difficult now as they only sell a small percentage of seats on each flight at that price but that's the same with every promotional offer, keep your eyes peeled and there are plenty of bargains to be had, especially when the offers are first launched.

Actually 271gbp inc taxes for Man-Bkk-Man, sorry I was out by 1gbp.

You actually tried getting a flight for that fare? Good luck!

Checked it out (for the london version) showed GBP330 but when you go to book, there's none available (surprise!) and actual price comes back as GBP409 which is the same as skyscanners.com quotes.

Had my son confirmed as the last seat on the EVA LHR - BKK flight on April 1 (returning April 10)

Cost STG 710.00 including everything.

Try calling Dial-a-Flight and getting a flight with them through eva air 2 years ago it knocked off £100!!! just going through dial-a-flight 1 year ago it knocked off £75 for a one-way flight :D give them a call and get a quote.. then compare it to the evaair website prices :)

Dialaflight. Simples.

Speaking as someone who's used them for 8 years. Just tell them exactly what you want and if they give you a higher price than a site you've visited...just tell 'em, and they will find the same flight and(if at all possible) undercut it. (Disclaimer: I'm nothing to do with dialaflight but they are <deleted> good!)

Can anyone explain what this business is about - 1 month / 2 month / 3 month tickets? Why should it matter if you stay one day, one week or six months? Isn't it just a case of filling an available seat on a plane no matter how long you've stayed at a destination?

What is your return date? The cheapest return leaving May 13 I can see is for 33,500 ++ ie over 40,000 BHT

Subject to visa going through etc I will need to book a flight for my wife from BKK to LHR. A one way flight from BKK to LHR as mentioned is far more expensive than flying the other way.

My question is, is it possible to book a return flight from LHR to BKK to LHR but only travel on the return flight i.e BKK to LHR.

On possible dates I have looked at this would be a saving of around £250.

as I believe you can't use only the return leg, if you don't turn up for outbound it the airline cancels inbound. Try jet airways
