Ohh it doesnt ring true for all of us, some of us arnt that old. Im late 30ies, my gf mid twenties, I act like a child, shes more mature for her age and prefers company of people in their thirties. My thai girlfriend before her was older than me, by 6/7 years and years ago I had another girlfriend who was 11 years older than me.

1) I have married a Thai lady after knowing her 3 weeks

2) As a foreigner has no right to own land in Thailand, I would consider it foolish to try and build or buy ever.

3) The house we rented is in my name, but I don't think that is important if the time comes to leave.

(I'm a "slip out the back Jack" sorta guy, when/if it all goes pear-shaped, so it doesn't matter who has their name on the rental contract)

4) I previously married a UK lady, after knowing her 2 years, but she only showed her true colours after 30 years

I agree you have a point. I am loner in my late 30s. I beleive that generally thai women my age are looking for an old guy to leave them a house, IF indeed they will hook up with farang.
