Mio Moov 200. Are There Maps For Thailand?

Featured Replies

I have a MIO moov 200 that I brought from home. Where can I buy Thailand map and install it on my MIO?

I was told that MIO don't have Thailand maps. Is that true?

If it is true, Is there different maps companies that I can install their maps on the MIO?

Do I need a memory card for that?

Thanks alot.

No it is not true because...

1) I have a MioC520 with ESRI Thailand maps in it

and

2) on the ground floor of Pantip Plaza,BKK there is a Mio shop selling them, but you could probably get a better deal in other shops there.

What price should I expect to install a map on my device?

Dealer advertised retail price for the latest ESRI Thailand Street Map is 2,000 baht. Maybe a couple hundred baht to load it to GPS memory and/or memory card. Just a guess, shops have been known to discount the price.

Although I got a Geeky Thai friend of mine to do it, Mio offer free map upgrades from thier 'My Mio' site BTW.

Had mine updated about a year ago (FREE).

This situation has now changed and the new 'Speednavi SQ3.0' costs 900b. I cannot find a free download unfortunetly!

Dealer advocated retail cost for the newest ESRI Thailand Street Map is 2,000 baht. Maybe a twosome century baht to burden it to GPS recollection and/or recollection card. Just a estimate, stores have been renowned to discount the price.
