3,500 Channels

There is a banner link at the top of the Thailand News Clippings forum advertising software which enables viewing of 3,500 channels from 80 countries. Has anyone used it & if so can you receive any good quality channels considering many of them are routinely scrambled? On the website they show Australia as having 331 channels & New Zealand 76. I seriously doubt these numbers.

A good alternative to the commercial software is TVU Networks, it has maybe not all the 3,500 channels the commercial provider offers... but it has also a lot of channels... And it is of course free...

I've been using TVU for a while now, after someone recommended it on here. However all the BBC channels have now vanished from the options. Does anyone have an alternative source for streamed BBC?

From internet speed reporting to San Francisco I generally range from 1.9 to 2.6MBs, download speed. I plan to upgrade to the 4MBs service from my current 3MBs.

Actually there is some nice software available for Linux, which also streams all BBC channels. It is http://zattoo.com/ the downside is that you can't download it from Thailand. I had it on a previous Linux notebook and it seems to work fine with ADSL in Thailand.

But after an fresh install of my OS I found that the software is not available in Thailand. They also have a MS Windows version....

P.S. If somebody in Europe can download the Linux software package and email it to me ... That would be great...

You can stream BBC channels from the BBC direct.

Just sign up for a VPN, like StrongVPN that will give you a UK ip address and away you go.
