Marine Gps Chart Plotters

Featured Replies

Hi guys, goggled it ,no look. can any one please tell me if a marine GPS Chart plotter from the UK will work in Thailand please, i.e can i just plug it in and maps of the area i am in come up? will my position come up and will it allow me to navigate to any chosen point ? thanks for any help. Micky.

Care to elaborate and give us a hint as to manufacturer and model number. What marine charts does it contain now? If no Thailand area chart, then how do you expect it to work?

search around for the Russian Cmaps, no probs with them. Just hang around cruising people and you should be able to get a copy free.

Garmin has a BlueChart g2 Vision microSD/SD card (Hong Kong/South Chine Sea) that covers Thailand. Verify that your Garmin GPS accepts a BlueChart g2 Vision SD card format before you buy.
