Exactly. I never get drunk alone. Always with a responsible (and less-drunk) friend or two. Takes care of any problems later such as paying the bill or getting home.

Sadly, after one night on the pizz I passed out in the taxi on the way home to Bangkapi and we ended up near Minburi. The driver finally woke me shouting 'PAI NAI', and I had a look around and didn't recognise anything. I had to call my wife (at 3am) and get her to give the guy directions. Give these guys credit, they often do a sterling job delivering <deleted> like me.
