PATTAYA The Pattaya Times newspaper was selected from all media members working in TV, radio and publishing of newspapers and magazines as the best of all media in the Eastern Seaboard for 2009 as informative and promoting Chonburi and the other Eastern Provinces in a positive light thereby helping to boast tourism and the image of the area.

I am sorry but the Pattaya times is just rubbish!, it says the award was for Newspapers & Magazines, to that end the Pattaya Trader or Chonburi 108 must stand head and shoulders above the rest as informative and useful publications.

Reminds me of the annual award to the Pattaya Mail "best in the eastern seaboard" complete ball locks.

I have to agree.

It is ironic - a rag that shamelessly crows that it massages the news to present the best possible face of Pattaya, takes this award from a scion of one the biggest and most influential "families" in the region, and son of an infamous personage (currently on the run).

Another year goes by and Pattaya One News once again fails to get the recognition we deserve.....I am devastated. Bit unfair these awards because most of the media organizations in Pattaya are not even invited to participate....wonder why that is?
