It seems like the Tourist Police are often criticised by alot of people.

I am wondering why??

Seems like they are doing a great service for us farang tourists.... I know it makes me feel alot happier knowing that they are there.

Its not the tourist police that are critisied...its the other lot....the voluteers

Yes - the volunteers do a good job too! Howard should be commended!!! :D

I'm on the side of the volunteers who with limited tools and power do a fine job in settling many an argument that otherwise might have turned nasty for an unsuspecting tourist.

possibly their main problem is that they arent police, they pretend they are police by wearing police style uniforms etc, but I support the basic idea
