Opinion Thailand's Visa Shake-Up Threatens Retiree Paradise
If that Thai global taxation threat becomes reality, you'll need to be sure you aren't here more than 180 days in a calendar year. Don't rely on the Thai-UK dual taxation agreement. More than 180 days and Thailand would consider your 'their' property when it comes to globally taxing your income. If your UK OAP is automatically taxed in the UK, regardless of your residency, you can argue tax is already paid and refer to the dual taxation treaty, but it is going to be a super mess for many of us living here 'if' it happens. -

Do you pee hovering over the toilet?
It has been illegal for anyone in my house, since1993, to stand up and pee......I even had labels put on the toilets giving strict instructions. Standing up to pee is disgusting. -

Immigration will visit me to fact-checking visa extension
How about you just dial back the paranoia a notch or three and realize because you were handed a new form that you had never seen does not mean that immigrations is going to show up at your house.. Just go back out to immigration's on the date your under consideration stamp expires and get the year extension inked in. -

Crime Senator Accused of Robbing Corpse Faces Investigation
We know the saying “TIT” with all those bizarre headlines. I honestly thought I’d seen it all by now. But no – turns out I was dead wrong. A SENATOR runs over a pedestrian and then goes on to rob the bloody corpse. Arrested? Obviously not. Instead, he’s only facing a potential ethics probe by the Senate. Absolutely ridiculous. Cheers, Thailand – every day is a new lesson. With you lot, literally anything is possible.
