Camera Shop In Central Pattaya?

Featured Replies

Can anyone recommend a camera shop (new or second-hand) in central Pattaya where I can buy a cheap digital camera?

Preferably a Canon.

Thanks.

Big Camera Chain have a shop in most malls and in Tesco & Big C

I am not certaijn but i think there is one down SOY 13/2 nearr the post office,

Almost every Mobile phone shop will have one or more used cameras, might even find a Canon, depends what they were offered. :)

Tuk.Com has lots of cameras.

Some of the pawn shops are quite good,I got a new Cannon 10 mp for a third off shop prices, but have to be good at bargaining, generally you can get them down by a third, depending how big their stock is and how good the shop is.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I just took a look in Carrefour (which is near where I live) and they have a new Canon Powershot A490 for 2990 baht.

That's about £62 at current exchange rates and should do me nicely.

Especially since I just looked up the same camera on Amazon.co.uk and was surprised to see it at £98. I thought things like cameras were generally more expensive in Thailand than back in the UK.

At current exchange rates computers certainly are.

Anyway, thanks again.
