Your saying you haven't received a water bill for 18 months when you should of?

Happen to us but only 5 months, finally they caught on.

So on 6th month they multiplied it by 5 times for the last 5 months we had it free.

Kinda unfair when considering we had the highest water use on the 6th month

Water has been free for the last approx 18 months, if your usage was below a certain level, under the government's hardship relief scheme introduced when the global financial crisis first hit. I received my first bill in a long time this month also, not sure if it is because we used more or if the scheme has finished.

Electricity was also free if you used below a certain threshold, but I never managed that one :)

I live up country and I always get a water bill but as it is only 2 baht per cu/m I can just afford to pay it as I am an old retired pensioner.

We've been getting the water bills for the past 18 or so months without a barcode on it as the amount was less than the amount set forth as the minimum. THis past month the water bill had a bar code on it. The free water is over.

In CM we got the bill every month but it was priced at zero, that was with the local govn service but some places will have a private service. Anyway, surely it is on the meter and the last reading that was charged can be deducted from the current reading if for some reason you have not been charged for six months and it is not zero.
