If you stay in Bangkok now, try keep away from Rachaprasong intersection and nearby areas such as The Victory Monument, Central Chidlom Department Store, Siam Paragon, and etc. However you can travel to other places apart from them.

Why? I've been to most of those areas while the red shirts are in town and the only problem I've had is trying to get a taxi when they are on the move through Bangkok.
