Have read how to get a Thai driving licence - but i couldn't see where i should go to obtain one....

The place you are looking for is directly behind the Regents school - directions as follows:

The school is located on Highway 36 from Pattaya to Rayong. From Pattaya, go North along Sukhumvit Road and turn right for Rayong along Highway 36. The school is 7km from the junction on the right.

If you want to avoid the mayhem of Pattaya's office go to Ao Udom or Chonburi - much quieter - and you may find it cheaper too.

Yes they are very bussy at the Pattaya office, it will not be a problem regarding you address being in Pattaya and not the 2 mention places?

my belief is that so long as you live/have an address in Chonburi province there should be no problem.

I certainly didn't live in Chonburi town when I got my DL
