No argument on the mashed potatoes either, but the scalloped potatoes that come with the duck confit are even better; the best potatoes in CM.

My point was that you should try that peppercorn sauce on the pork instead.

Your point is well taken. I can grill a good steak (much, much better than Franco-Thai), not to mention a perfect burger. But I can't do sauces like Franco-Thai.

Very easy directions when you see the landmarks:

Turn left at the S&P bakery on the north side of the moat (there's only one S&P)

Go around the building (you'll understand when you get there)

Make the first right turn

Make the first right turn again (you'll see the Franco-Thai sign)

The restaurant is at the end of the block.
