Acer Timeline 1810tz

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if you can get this model anywhere in Bangkok?

I have the 1410T and it's a great machine, but really needs a dual-core CPU!

Thanks in advance,

Matt.

Matt,

Have you tried BananaIT? the one near Tesco, Chawang. Also known as seven.com if you want to check out the website for the franchise.

There is a new manager in there, His name Boyd... (who is also the Mac "guru"... but I have found him quite good to deal with) The other "chubby guy" in there is not bad to talk with either, seems to know his stuff!

I guess they got the message, that the previous manager was not very good & he got let go about a month ago. I meant to post that!

Seems that Company Policy is exchange but no refund... but if you know exactly what you want, there should not be a problem.

A friend, recently stayed with me & compared prices at BIT Samui & Pantip plaza (he knows computers & part prices) & said there is not a huge difference, if any at all.

The other store is the little computer shop just about opposite the Maenam Post office, is pretty good at bringing stuff in, within a few days.

You can ask either to quote you a price.

May save the grueling trip to BKK!!!!

Acer have a Service centre in Pantip Plasa start there and then work your way around the vendors if they can't help you.

It's available online here if that could be of any help
