^Your case is interesting, because somehow they managed to get a work permit for you based on course-by-course payment? Not sure that would be legal; there's usually a minimum salary written into the contract for legal purposes in order to justify the visa and work permit. In which case, if they breached that agreement, you could sue them; they are obligated to continue the contract, furthermore, because you have worked there for so long. So to make you go away right away they would have to pay you severance, which would roughly be 7 months salary at the contract level.

However, because your case seems a bit complicated by that 'payment by course' thing, I would recommend engaging a lawyer. I would also recommend NOT quitting on your own yet without legal advice because that may invalidate your entitlement for severance.

Can anyone tell me the name of the school (via message, if need be) because I work in the same building?

7600 Baht grand total loss in the gutter

7600b is a lot of money if you havent got any. But seriously you would be better off just walking away and earning the money again. your looking at a weeks work. Because if they really are nasty pieces of work MAYBE they arrange that immigration sort you out. IT is YOUR responsibility to get a work permit (however hard that can be without employer support)
