i will be visiting blighty for 3 weeks in july/august and would like a dial up connection for my laptop whilst i am there , the people i am staying with dont have a computer.

it used to be possible to get free cards for e.g. tesco dial up , you just used the dial up number provided and paid the rate with the phone bill.

are such things still available ?

and if not , any recommendations for easy convenient dial up without having to sign a contract and then cancel it after 3 weeks.
