Red-Shirts Blamed For Gunfights, Bomb Attacks

The linked video here is one of the most mysterious ones I have seen to suggest that perhaps it was not the army doing the shooting.

Warning: before you click the link, be forewarned that this is very graphic.

The clip opens with the protestors moving forward, perhaps to confront troops. At 16 seconds, you see one of them shot in the head and fall forward. Notice where his skull and brains landed. He was shot from behind, and not from the direction that the other protestors were facing.

I'll skip the graphics.

It is clear it wasn't the Army and in fact, already one of the Red's leaders (Saeh Dang) has acknowledged it was an outside group.

So who is the outside group?

That is pretty gruesome what kind of round is that, that would do that to your head.

I hope someone saved that video for future reference. It's no longer accessible from my end. Anyone else?

I am getting SQL database errors on repeated attempts to reload it. If you just have the page open, you already have it in cache. You might not be able to reload it.

Maybe someone should put it up on YouTube.

It's accessible, but takes a long time loading. Heavy traffic perhaps.

One that has been flattened somewhat by ricocheting off a wall?

A round that fragments on impact, like police use in urban situations. Or maybe the shooter made a dum dum round.

Another for the peaceful, unarmed protestors archive.

Sorry I don't get it. Isn't he in army uniform or something like that?

Take another look. He is dressed in total black. Not army issues. Remember where we heard about the guys in black?

Yes I have taken a 2nd look. Black on the outside, but army green on the inside. (Sorry I see no Red at all).

Now, it is time for YOU to take another look.

Rounds do strange things, but not U-turns! a high velocity .223/6.5mm will do that to your head. The heavier but slower .308/7.62mm can hit a shoulder and take your arm off.

Well, I can't see it. But I wonder if it was this poor guy in photo #20.

http://www.slide.com/r/4SY_d9f17D-XoSX7c5WngxJmKIPBVdja

I think it is, its the same guy I linked to on facebook.

I just looked closely at the video again. It does appear to be the same guy, or at least they look the same and it's the same t-shirt. The guy who was made a martyr on the UDD stage. And he was shot from behind, opposite from the approaching army.

Hmmmm....

Who are these militia firing M79 riffle towards riot police? I assume they are Reds?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7oKenp6ZLw...player_embedded

The Reds Militia?

553000005353901.JPEG

Reds shown collecting buillet's shell from the ground (M79 and M16 riffle bullets, I'm not sure). But if they have collected these shells in their vicinity someone must have fired them there, where the soldiers there before?

Several farangs are also seen in the video, looks like Bangkok tourist to me. Tsk, tsk, these guys are endangering themselves.

On the last part of the video that guy (wearing swimming googles) was basically saying that he saw a man wearing a black shirt shot the soldier to the ground (dead). He said that the soldiers did not shoot.

Could the guy he was referring to is the same guy on the photo above?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCZEEBKbVhk...player_embedded

see more on: http://www.oknation.net/blog/canthai/2010/04/11/entry-5

The interview with the guy in the goggles is spooky. He says at the end he tried to highlight the soldier "imposter" to the red shirt guards but the guards tried to silence him and whisked him away.

Listening to this you would conclude there's a third party now attacking the army who is colluding with the red shirt guard.

One thing to be paid to gather at a site and march around - another thing being shot. It's obvious to all this isn't about Khun T as most people on here once thought.

Don't see the connection between the first and second sentences.

The main question is not whether there was a third party, but rather who?

Seh Daeng?

Given he's actually confessed to this, it'd be a safe bet...

Honestly I don't think Khun T will be back even if the reds win this. He certainly is too much of a polarizing figure to solve anything. Same now can be said of Abhisit - I think he's ruined now that it has unfolded the way it had.

Exactly. That's my point. You hit the nail on the head.

Anyone could also wear Yellow, Red, Blue, Pink (I lose count), and that does not mean that it is their true colour.

Same video now on you tube.

there's no way that the soldiers could have shot that guy. he was in the middle of the red camp and there were reds in front of him who were fighting with the army.

the most obvious thing was that he fell in the wrong direction which means the bullet was not from the direction where the soldiers were.

RIP to that Red guy.
