Hello,

Please could someone shed some light on the below I'm slightly confused by what I've read on the net!!

I managed to get a double entry visa for Thailand the first 60 days expires on the 30th of April so I need to renew it. I am going to cross the border to Burma from Ranong but I have read on the net that they will only issue me with a 15 day visa on my return to Thailand because I am crossing by land. Is this correct or will they issue me with another 60 days which is what I origanlly payed for at the embassy??

Times runnin out your comments are appreciated

Thanks very much

You'll get 60 days since you have a visa. The 15 days is only if you enter without a visa.

Just make sure you enter Thailand before the validity of your visa runs out, see stamp on visa "enter / utilize before ..Date)

Know that you can extend each 60 day entry by 30 days if you pay 1,900 baht at immigration. But make sure you enter Thailand the second time before the VISA which you got at the embassy expires. Each extension cost 1,900 baht and a pass photo.
