Hi I am a Canadian lady looking for a female driver with own car to be available(on call) to drive me around Pattaya, as I am not familar with Pattaya. Typically for household shopping between 3 and 5 hours per day for once or twice per month. And on occasionally to Bangkok. Need someone who is easy going and can speak english. Comments are welcome. Actually, Pattaya is a pretty safe and easy place to get around... even for a woman. The farang men aren't looking at farang women and the Thai men are too busy occupied with other things. The rough action doesn't really start until well after it gets dark (around 6:30 Pm). Morning light starts about 6:30 AM.

There are little red pickup trucks that run specific routes around the city for very little money. It only takes a day or so of walking to get the lay of the land. Many roads are one way and the little side roads (called "sois") are cross streets. Besides the street side shops, there are a variety of malls that will supply you with all the shopping you could ever wish for. There is seldom any reason to do any cooking yourself because it's much easier and faster to eat out in one of the many cafes. There is a WIDE choice of types of food... from western to eastern.

If you've already planned on making Pattaya your head quarters then do a Google Map search, It has good definition of Pattaya. I suggest Koh Larn island as a swimming beach area. It's much cleaner and nicer than the local beaches.

In any case it is a lively place for everyone and worth a visit.

Yes I do take the baht bus ....the problem is during peak hours a bus arrives every 20mins and I am lucky to get on the first one --no fun.

She could be Asian or Non-asian....I love it when girls find neat new places to shop!--Bonus if she can speak chinese.
