Believe that some expats wife makes them at home too cos I was offered some by a colleague in BKK. I also tried buying the yeast powder from a website but then the hassle of keeping them in a warm cabinet to grow the yeast was too much for me. So I gave up. Probably the shops around the Malaysian embassy can help, I was told but never been there. I still keep a few packets in my freezer and fry them whenever I need to satisfy my cravings for tempeh...
