ok, I have a non imm B visa and I have a work permit.

When I first got my permit I could not go and extend my Non Imm B visa for the yearly one as we did not have enough Thai staff, we had two work permits and 6 staff. I was told that immigration are stricter than the labour department. Because of this I leave every three months and get a new non imm b.

My work permit is due for renewal in August this year, my current non imm b will need renewing in July.

Ok the point is that we now have enough Thai staff to wp ratio for me to extend my Non Imm B for one year, can I do that at this late stage or do i need to wait until I renew my wp? if I can do it now any advice on what I need to do will be helpful, which forms, cost, who do I see at Immigration etc?

Thank you in advance. :)

If you have enough staff now, you can go to immigration during the last 30 days of your current permisison to stay (the stamp in your passport you got at the border). Immigration will however not allow you to stay for longer than your WP is valid. Once your WP is renewed you go back to immigration and get a full year extension of stay.

At immigration you just apply for an extension of stay based on work, with all the right documents.

thanks, so I will be better to go immigration in July and extend until my work permit is due in august, then go straight from the Labour Dept with my extended work permit to immigration to extend for one year?

That might be best yes. You could ask labour to extend your WP a bit early, I'm not sure how many days in advance they will do that. But some labour offices are very helpful.
