The Word ลือ

What does the phrase ลือได้ลือดี mean?

ลือ means to spread a rumor, according to the dictionaries.

I also saw this phrase ลือว่าทหารตำรวจก็ถอดเครื่องแบบหันมาใส่เสื้อหลากสีแล้วเช่นกัน.

I don't quite understand the first part, ลือว่า. Does that mean 'its rumored that'?

ลืิอได้ลือดี means repeated rumor mongering

ลือว่าทหารตำรวจก็ถอดเครื่องแบบหันมาใส่เสื้อหลากสีแล้วเช่นกัน.

means "it is rumored that the soldiers have taken off their uniforms and put on multi-colored shirts ((ed. note: that is shirts of those protesting the red shirts))

ลือว่า does mean "it is rumored that"
