Well I have been what swimin in kerosene jet A for a long long time. My head is clear as it can be boys. Problem is once in this stuff for a time, hard to get rid of it. It follows me everyplace I go. So now I don't need to put on any aftershave lotion. Got it on me automatically. Hehehehehehehehehehe

Yes you better trust the planes I service and repaired. I am really picky on the parts being fixed, and safety is number one priority for anyone flying my planes that I just fixed up. Besides my friends, I have to sign my name and personal FAA Identification on all my repairs. If one of them ever crashed, I am crushed to death mentally. The pain I will feel will be beyond your imagination. That is why I also do extra checks before I say it is cleared to go.

Beside none of you ever have any idea of the pressure we get from the company to do shortcuts to save on costs. I have never sucked to any of these bozo's and will not risk innocent people their lives.

Everybody seems to have missed the point here.

This kid is 'GUILTY' and he dam well knows it. The UK is one of the biggest Ecstacy producing countrys in the world. Many are made in illegal factorys in the North (where this kid is from). In Thailand the price of a tab of ecstacy is about 1000 baht (£16). In the UK a batch of 10,000 tabs of ecstacy can be bought for £5500 (55 pence each, or 30 baht). So now you can see why this time the drugs were taken INTO Thailand instead of being bought there.

Finally ecatacy IS NOT made in Thailand, just Ya' bah. And for people in the scene, it has been common knowledge in certain circles that if a dealer is prepared to send somebody from the UK to Thailand with 3500 tabs of ecstacy (which is the ammount this kid was caught with, isn't that strange!), then instead of recieving a cash payment for the drugs, there are certain dealers in Bangkok who will just do a straight swap for a kilo of pure herion. And that is fantastic business for both parties, 3500 tabs of ecstacy (value in UK £1800) to be swaped for one kilo of pure herion (can be cut into 3 kilos in UK, and be sold at £12,000 per kilo x 3 =£36,000). So now you can see why that guy was sent there.

And just for anybody who still thinks the kid is innocent, this is the second time he has done this trip to Thailand now.

Just to add another query people are wondering. He went from Uk - Dubai then Dubai - Bangkok. Well for everybody wondering how you can do this, well its easy. 'Emirates Airline' flys daily from 'Manchester-Dubai' and from there you can catch a connecting flight to Bangkok.

if what you have posted is true then i will repeat my initial posting on this topic

when i first read the story,i was prepared to have some sympathy for him on the basis that he may have been set up.

after reading this article,and if the article can be believed,then any sympathy i might have had has just completely evaporated.

another lazy yob,in all probability on benefits courtesy of the british taxpayer,using those benefits to fund a trip abroad to smuggle drugs for personal gain.

long may he remain in the sweaty confines of a thai prison,with plenty of time to reflect on the errors of his ways.

i sincerely hope it is many years until he can get "a video and something from the chippy" again.

he fully deserves all that is coming to him,

and, more importantly, some parents' teenage child may have been spared any harm from the drugs involved.

If what I just read is reliable as the source indicates, then I have no sympathy for this kid either. Sounds very realistic and if verified then this kid needs to go down big time. Not death, but enough time to make him age gracefully and have white hair on his head and be about like 50'ish to see the streets again.

It is important to spare others from getting the bad dope. Dope of any kind is very dangerous even when legal. That is why we have doctors and each person concerning their bodies have different tolerances and can only accept certain medications for its purposes and intent. This is something we need to all realize and face as facts that dope is indeed very dangerous even in controlled environments.

Sadly to say many in the younger age group do not have this capacity in their minds to understand its dangers and unknowingly take it under false ideals and beliefs.

Same for sex, with AIDS facing one right smack in our faces. Same for Drinking and the same for Cigs or some means of Tobacco. All of this and more is right there and the dangers presented is so obvious but the urge to take the fruits of the poisonous tree sometimes overwhelms us.

Back in the 70's I was visiting a friend during Xmas eve. The frigin place got raided by the DEA and cops. Was cuffed and taken to the station and booked. Only to be released without charges an hour later. Turns out they raided the wrong house. But that little experience as a kid myself, sure gave me the willies. What was so funny, I got hit on my back by the butt of a shotgun, besides having like maybe 6 or 7 different cops pointing guns right at me while I held a gun lighting my cigarette (by the way which was cool) and stood there dumbstruck and petrified. Almost got swiss cheesed by these gun trigger cops.

The other part is they thought this one girls makeup was cocaine. I even saw her put it on her face before they came. So to make it short that was like over 30 years ago. My how time flew.

Dr. PP, is this book available here in the USA????? Hopefully it is in English. I would like to read it out of darn curiousity in hopes of knowing just how bad the Hilton really is.

If you say it is that much worse than what I thought, well then I would say the kid is probably done finished for life and ruined for good provided he is still alive. I would think he still is cause there has been no reports of his passing as of this writing. Surely if this kid does die, it would be either suicide or got murdered and without a doubt England would make this as some news.

More likely he is in protective isolation for the time being so he can make his appearances in court. The Thais guards at this jail are not that dumb to toss him to the wolves just yet. Eventually he will once he is convicted and sentenced.

They know he is only 19 but at same token also know by looking at him and seeing him overall that sending him to the big boys will surely kill him, and I don't think they will take that chance as of now.

They have to break him in slowly into jail routine. That is how they get to keep fresh bodies around for the lifers. Again this is just a guess.

So Dr. PP, do you know of any guards at the Hilton, and if so why not ask them what they do with young kids or those arrested and held while awaiting trial????

This should be able to give all of us some fresh insight of the generality of these people.

Bulldog, don't underestimate the Hilton. We have had members here in this forum who have been inside the hilton and behind bars seeing what is going on. These members were fortunate to bail their arse's out of there and thus can breathe a sigh of relief.

They have reported their stories here and it is very much quite vicious of what they do inside the hilton. One expat was beaten to a pulp just upon arrival by 5 guards for not dropping his duds fast enough during the strip search. Some have called their wives telling the horror they are seeing and asking them to get the money to bail out of there before they had their mobile phones taken away. Those that did get the bail are very lucky indeed.

I myself I believe has passed by this notorious place perhaps 2 or 3 times while I was in a cab with my wife. Just looking at this place sure as tit for tat gave me the strongest willies shaking to your bones. This is one bad bad place and the very last place you would want to pay a visit so to speak.

Maybe the book exaggerates a bit, but trust the members here as to its reality and even Dr. PP knows of about its notorious reputation.

If you don't think this is possible. Do something piddly to catch their attention and let them arrest you. If they take you there be well prepared my friend and make sure you got your bail money instantly available cause your going to use it like it or not. If you want be my guest and you like maybe you can make arrangements to get arrested on a Friday evening, cause you will not be able to bail out till the coming Monday which gives you a cool 72 hours of horror. After that, then tell us what you think.

i knew an english guy who was on bail for 4 months before doing a deal and being deported. (working illegally,non-payment of tax,overstay of 7 years,no passport)

i used to go and visit him sometimes. this was about ten years ago.

he said it wasnt too bad in there, he had some money and used to go out with the guards for meals and massages. about 30 in his cell,he was the only falang,he said he had no trouble from anybody, he wasn't a big or powerful guy,but he could speak very good thai. biggest hassle were the mossies and cockroaches.

when he was escorted to the airport for his deportation, the immigration officer apologised to him and hoped he would come back again soon on a new passport, and if he ever needed a favour etc.etc.etc.

fellas, the reports of the expats who were in the hilton was in on the subject of those getting busted on the fake stamps. I don't know if it exists here anymore but there were some in that forum section that actually describe the conditions only 2 or 3 months back.

If you can find the thread again, that would be nice but I think it got closed.

As of the planes I service would it be fitting if you fly the following since I am not only tied to one company. I work for A/A and also an International Consortium consisting British Midlane, British Airways, Asiana, and NW. I have been wanting to work for Thailand's fleet, sigh but have to be in Asia for that. Also I do check JAL once in awhile if called when it is here in Chicago.

I hope it puts you guys at ease and in peace knowing you are safe and sound and in very good hands.
