I am doing a visa run to KL, and need to be there at least three days to get my visa.

I am looking for a decent (3 star or more) reasonably priced hotel where I can stay. I have checked this forum and have not seen much information.

Could anyone who has done this recommend a comfortable hotel?

Thanks very much, and I appreciate your responses.

Try the Nova Hotel downtown KL. A friend who does his visa runs stays there regularly. Google Nova Hotel KL and its all there. make a booking. I've been there myself. Its an ok place. Room rates are about THB 1500 a night and its right in the midst of the shopping district and food galore with many types of restaurants. Takes you about 15 mins to get to the Thai Embassy at Jalan Ampang too. See this link below.Hope this helps

If you want a hotel within walking distance of the Embassy try the Corus. the rates vary a lot so look for a deal on the net and then call them to ask for better. It is close to the twin towers so full of tourists

A couple of years ago I've stayed in the Furama Hotel. The Hotel is located approx. 3 kilometer away from the Thai Embassy and cost roughly 1000 to 1500 Baht. Check the website of the hotel for detailed rates.
