GoodHeart
I have to do a visa run next week to Singapore. I would also like to make it a working holiday as well. To that end it would be imperative that I have Internet access in the room- if it were included in the room price all the better, but that won't stop me from booking. Also, given their Metro has very good coverage across the metro area, I'd also like to stay within a short walk of any station. Could anyone suggest a Singapore hotel or two that would suit these reqs.? Edited June 10, 2005 by GoodHeart
GoodHeart
So.... am I to assume the forum readers don't travel much then? No one uses the Internet in Singapore perhaps? Kidding aside, I'm a little perplexed- I thought this would be information easily shared. Can anyone assist me?

slapdashkitty
The correct answer is "ALL." Singapore is one of the most modern cities in SE Asia, public transport is a breeze and the city enjoys full coverage of the Metro.
Ted
You might want to click onto www.expatsingapore.com for some more advice. Its a dull forum largely populated by expat wives complaining about their maids and the weather but it can be a good source of Singapore related info

thohts
asiarooms.com is even better than precisionreservations price-wise, though I use them, too.
