The DSI are a major part of the committee that makes up CRES - why do you think that Suthep surrendered to them? As I said he's the Director of CRES for God's sake. The DSI are not dealing with complaints against Abhisit and Suthep they have never been involved with those complaints. They now say that they will begin an enquiry. YEAH and when will that start and finish.

Abhisit and Suthep cannot guarantee bail? Grow up this is Thailand.

If he had surrendered to the Police (even the Crime Suppression Division) charges would have been brought against him by the police in respect of the complaints already made by the relatives of those killed on 10th April 2010.

Charges haven't been brought against Suthep though. So even surrendering to police (CSD) would not get him charged.

Yes "Before he wins the next election"[/b]

The reds and the PTP have done nothing to demonstrate that they could run the country (without Thaksin) they have put forward no policys to move on and the reds keep making silly demands that they know will not be accepted in an effort to prolong the damage they are doing to the city and country.

The Govt on the other hand has put forward proposals which have been rejected on flimsy pretext and is still (in spite of all the red disruption) getting legislation passed which will move the country ahead.

The PPP only got the 40% of the vote last time with bribery and intimmidation and in a free and fair election would now never come near that as their antics have now turned many people against them.

And again we see the bleat of yellow.. yellow

So you are saying that in spite of the money laundering by the Democrats in respect of the illegal payment of B250 million baht made to them plus the misuse (disappearance) of the money given to them by the EC for political development they as a party will not be dissolved and all their executives banned for five years? Where did you get that information from?

In the 40% that you mention are you including the millions of votes held by the forty Phue Thai MPs who were purchased by the Elite and Military in order to install Abhisit as PM? Do you really think that those forty MPs will be re-elected after what they did? (They are even too scared to visit their constituencies and the voters that they betrayed never mind stand for election as Bhumjauthai candidates!)

Which people are you referring to that have turned against the Red Shirts/Phuea Thai? Half the people at Rachaprasong are from Bangkok! Please also remember that the population of Isaan alone is about 30% of the entire population of Thailand. Do you actually believe that even one Democrat MP will be elected in Isaan in the next election?

1/ what you call money laundering was in fact a donation and at present there has been a complaint lodged against the Dems alleging it was illegal and an inquirey will be held into this. The complaint had already been dismissed but was revived after Arisman burst into the EC and demanded with threats that it be investigated.

Where did you get your information from?

2/ Where did you get that information from?

3/ I dont live in Essan but I do live in an electorate that had a TRT MP in Thaksins day and there is no way with the open hatred of the reds here that a red backed MP would ever get in again.

Even if all that is correct (which it isnt) 30% isnt a majority.

"Half the people at Rachaprasong are from Bangkok" thats less the 5000 (the number the reds claim) from KK so how many does that make it?

"Do you actually believe that even one Democrat MP will be elected in Isaan in the next election?" I dont doubt that, they probably wont even be allowed to campeign there. Red democracy

Why do I bother , read most of your posts

For one that is advocating so much you overlooked one major point with your ridiculous comment. It may have been a Thailand that operated that way under Thaksin or if the murdering goons in their soon to be lock down got their way, but under this Abhisit watch bail is not a function of this Government.

the news in thaivisa seems very "yellow press" and it is important to look for other sources of information too

This forum is run by The Nation newspaper, so why are you surprised that it is so yellow?

Be careful what you say - a ban will be issued for anything 'anti' - about the elites and government.

They never did anything wrong but the Reds do nothing but wrong according to this forum.

Hence thaivisa is "yellow press" - mostly one-sided.

Worth pointing out that the majority don't want the reds, hence why the other parties formed a coalition to make a majority. Likewise, whilst the reds have fair number of supporters sympathisers, they too are still the minority. You should therefore expect more anti-red than pro-red comments. There are many neutrals who whill continue to criticise the reds, it doesn't make them yellows.

He HAD to call off the elections. What Sondhi wants, Sondhi gets.

make a list!

starting from when he bank rolled Thaksin into power.. and B4

This has been the "Sondhi Era" folks!

Might I inquire as to your source for this unpublished news that Sondhi dictates to and completely controls the Premier of Thailand?

Or are your sources deep undercover agents of a previously unknown secret agency that require anonymity for their survival?

Likely source;

The Lord High Mayor of Candyland,

me thinks.

Abhisit should have stuck to the plan - yellows on here have been barking on for months about 'he was going to do it anyway and was not forced'

He should have shown REAL leadership and said

'I'm going to do it anyway - I was not forced and will not be in future' and what does he say? they won't play so I won't play - so there!

There requires to be a timeframe in which to bring peace and normality back to the country before elections that stand any chance of being free and fair can be organised. Stands to reason therefore that all the while the capital city is in a state of complete chaos, an election date can not be given.

The reds had a perfectly reasonable election date offered to them. What a shame they couldn't bring themselves to take it.

why the reds ALWAYS won the elections and the yellows never, they had to launch a terrorist attack to the airport and make deals with parties who said they support red before the elections...

That's not true. He is sticking to the plan. The roadmap will continue it is only the rally and the election date which have changed; one being conditional on the other.

Abhisit, here again shows his inability to keep his words. Cunning, and always look for an excuse is never a leadership quality. What he will become in his political future, another Chuan LEEKPAI?

What words of Abhisit did he fail to follow?

His own words, anotherpeter. Can't you see that there is no reason to believe what Abhisit talks all day?

Nice promises are void tomorrow. Don't trust him. The PM lies.

Mazeltov, if you have evidence that whybother is a returning banned member, which one assumes you do, present it to a mod and let them deal with it. Accusing him/her publicly on the forum is flaming.

He made a legitimate offer, they agreed and then reneged.

He has shown good faith and they haven't.

So he has no oblogation to maintain his agreement.

When dealing with a negotiating partner who isn't dealing in good fath,

there is no penalty to back off from something that wasn't agreed to on both sides.

Can't make a deal with meshuganahs.

The roadmap including the election date was conditional. The reds accepted then stayed and kept up the hate speech, added things like Suthep being CHARGED with a crime by an agency that had not investigated the alleged crime etc ....

The reds are STILL in violation of a State of Emergency. They wasted their chance. The sad thing is that the *cough* more moderate of the accused terrorists (Red shirt leaders) accepted the deal and then Sae Daeng, Jatuporn, and Arisman soured it. Why? They knew that unless Thaksin is returned to office in Thailand that they get the needle for terrorism.

Sae daeng is probably out of the picture for good now .... a few more redshirt leaders like Arisman being taken into custody or caught armed and the more moderate *cough* red shirt leaders will have a chance to end this insurrection.

Reds havn't ever wanted an election.

They want only to crash the government now and take control at government house forever.

Proof is that Abhisit offered an accelerated election schedule, however, all the Reds did was make more new and absurd demands. The Reds aren't about elections, only about seizing power now.

Reds want insurrection now not a moved up election or an election at any time, ever.

Where did you get that information from?

From the Bangkok Post and from the TV today when it said that the Court had told the Democrats that they can't have the 30 day extension to produce their defence that they had asked for but they could have 15 days

In the 40% that you mention are you including the millions of votes held by the forty Phue Thai MPs who were purchased by the Elite and Military in order to install Abhisit as PM? Where did you get your information from?

The "donation was split into lots of 2 million baht by a firm, hired by the Democrat Party. Each 2 million baht lot was then then sent to a member or senior worker of the Democrat Party who then paid it into the Democat Party funds. If that's not money laundering perhaps you can tell me what is.

2/ Where did you get that information from?

Full details were given in the Bangkok Post. Look it up in their archives

3/ I dont live in Essan but I do live in an electorate that had a TRT MP in Thaksins day and there is no way with the open hatred of the reds here that a red backed MP would ever get in again.

I don't see the connection that your making please clarify

Even if all that is correct (which it isnt) 30% isnt a majority.

I very clearly stated that Isaan's population is about 30% of the entire population of Thailand so again I don't understand what what point you are making

"Half the people at Rachaprasong are from Bangkok" thats less the 5000 (the number the reds claim) from KK so how many does that make it?

What is KK?

"Do you actually believe that even one Democrat MP will be elected in Isaan in the next election?" I dont doubt that, they probably wont even be allowed to campeign there.

Who can stop them campaigning there? If anybody did they would be in breach of Electoral Law and the election could well be ordered to be reheld.

Why do I bother , read most of your posts

You may very well read my posts but you obviously don't concentrate whilst doing so
