Tony Clifton
I just read why there is no large exit wound in S. D.'s head, the bullet exited through his neck which makes me think the angle is from pretty high up. I read earlier on this forum that the shot came from a hotel room. You could look at it from the other end and say he was eliminated by small calibre bullet going from the neck up, shot from behind. A loose cannon remains a loose cannon, whichever side it is on. Sae Deng knew too much and had a big mouth, add that to the power struggles within the reds... He was taken out of the picture by his own, the reds, not the army. Thaksin wants, Thaksin gets. The foreign embassies closing down, Thaksin`s arrest abroad is imminent. Keep laughing...
brahmburgers
Red-shirts Hijack 3 Military VehiclesThe red-shirt group has hijacked 3 military vehicles close to Lumpinee Park and Sathorn Road. Sand was poured into the gas tank while protesters battered the car with sticks and stones. Reported from TAN Yikes, even a little car has a locking gas cap. And motorbikes have locking seats over their fuel caps. Can we expect military vehicles to afford a 90 baht locking gas cap? Thai security forces are giving security forces from other countries a front row seat education ON WHAT NOT TO DO IN DIRE SITUATIONS.

slapout
Have no idea who is responsible for the shot that got 'Rambo', but the man interviewing him, said "I heard a shot and then Sea dang went down" plus the doctor says a bullet was removed for his head. Velocity of a rifle round is much faster than the velocity of sound from that point, most high velocity rounds used, would leave a entrance and exit wound, although not always. Just some truths for all the whodunits.

chantorn
According to the report, five M79 had been shot into the rally site with a series of gunshots. Police Major-General Prawut said that security measures were enhanced with more light provided around the site for rally-goers' safety. Prawut has an exceptionally dry sense of humor. No wonder. Yesterday the government claim in TV that they do not use M79. So now they can claim that they did not shoot into the RED. Also, now the govt cannot claim why that the RED has never been attached before.
noahvail
I watched TNN late yesterday evening and last night. I twice saw a clip that appeared to show an entrance wound on the right temple; that clip is no longer being shown. It appeared to be almost perfectly round, which would indicate that the shot was fired at approximately the same height as S.D. The doctors reported that the bullet entered from the right temple and ended at the left temple. To do that, the angle of trajectory would have to be flat, not from a great height - or bounced off the jaw up to the temple, which is highly unlikely. In any case, there was no exit wound, based on the surgeon saying that they removed the bullet.

Or maybe they just want new vehicles? What happened to the old professional Thai military ? I don't know who did it; there are so many possibilities of "spies, double-agents, triple-agents" and so on...boggles the imagination. Whoever took the shot was bloody good, though, to hit only him with a head shot, through a crowd of reporters.
