Ok it's not a great movie but a good one to pick up for a few baht if you run across it. Tequila Sunrise w/ Michelle Pfieffer, Mel Gibson, Kurt Russel and Raul Julia. It reflects the cocaine culture of the 80s set in Los Angeles/Malibu. The whole movie has an 80s feel to it. It's It's a cat and mouse film w/ enough twists.

I prefer the movie "Blow" with Johnny Depp starring in the real life true story of George Jung, who along with Pablo Escobar, more or less created that whole scene. If one believes the candid interview on the dvd b-side, between the director and the protagonist, then the movie was pretty much an accurate representation of what took place.

My one for this catagory is " Blow Up' with David Hemmings. Not a great movie, yet a classic all the same. It is in my revised top ten list because of the memories of the sixties and early seventies it brought back. Nice scene with 'The Yardbirds' in it as well as Jane Birkins tits.

Ok I just watched Miami Blues again with Alec Baldwin, Fred Ward and Jennifer Jason Leigh and I strongly suggest it if you like cops and robbers. Baldwin plays a wound up tight ex-con who starts a crime wave and Fred Ward is the cop looking to bring him in. The tension between Baldwin and Ward the first time they meet is very high with comedy tossed in as they both try to maintain their cools as they size each other up and feel each other out. They both know whats what but they aren't ready to thrown down just yet. Baldwin does a good job of portraying a man who is just keeping it under control and who is very focused on crime as his livelyhood. You gotta see this one.

Warning: Baldwin's character is a violent murdering ex-con. Early in the movie he kills a religious person so it may not go over well with all people.

Not to mention the sex romp scene in his studio with the girls pulling each others tights off. :o

Also liked Barberella from around the same period (ie. my adolescence) :D

just saw 'Cat Ballou' here in Bahrain before going in to work. Not particularly great but notable for Lee Marvin's performance in a comedy role. I think he got an oscar for it. Is this the same man that played the title role in 'The Man that Shot Liberty Valance'?...vile, bullying swine...

Jane Birkins tits.

She is completely flat chested :o .....Some good oldies but goodies,

1. Escape from Alcatraz with Clint Eastwood

2. Mission with Denirro and Jeremy Irons

3. Scarface with Pacino..........This movie really defined the '80s...Money, Power, women and coca

4. Serpico " "

5. The man who would be king with Caine and Connery

6. Once upon a time in America...Denirro

Nice sunday afternoon type flicks you can watch over and over again.... :D

yeah...gotta agree with Mission with Deniro. The look of pure hatred that he gives his brother before running him though for balling his girlfriend is bonechilling...
