310 days, or almost 10 months, per the Thai Civil & Commercial Code. You can buy a copy of the Thai law in Thai and English at Asia Books.

This probably means that the OP was already seeing another woman while he was still married.

No wonder his wife filed for divorce, poor girl.

your competely wrong.If you look at\ my story you will be sorry for your comment.

i stay with my ex 5 year before i married her.

as soon we married ,and i worked outside of los ,she start play cards.

I try to stop her with this,but no results,even after she promised to budha in the tempel(and i believed this) she going on .

in 3 year she lost more than 4 ml baht.and that was the end for me.

That part you quoted only applies to females. I believe a man can remarry any time he likes.

Yep, that's only for women, to stop concerns over parental rights.

The woman can go and get a certificate from a doctor saying she is not preggers and get married the next day if she doesn't want to wait.

The man has a much smaller risk of conceiving so can remarry immediately.

As previously mentioned a man can remarry as soon as he wants depending on his nationality.

Providing he fulfills the requirements laid down by his embassy regarding statutory declaration/freedom to marry plus the time it takes to have that document translated and stamped by the MFA he could theoretically get married the following day.

I only ask one question. Why would you want to remarry if you intend to be away from your wife for extended periods of time? Your being away was probably the reason for your wife becoming a gambling addict. I've seen a lot of long distance marriages and most end in failure. And, far more than marriages where couples stay and live together.
