If Thaksin announced that he was a liar, would you believe him ? Good retort. It's like a Zen koan. However, if you're a Thaksin watcher, you'll notice he never apologizes for anything. Never takes responsibility. The most he's ever done in the dept, was say it was 'an honest mistake' when caught hiding tens of millions of baht in the accounts of his housemaid and chauffeur - though even that statement was an obvious lie. How likely is it that a mega rich person would mistakenly put tens of millions of baht in to his service peoples' personal accounts? While he was first in power, he claimed his wife made all the important decisions (really, I thought he was elected PM, not his wife), then later, he would say he was the CEO PM, so he made all the decisions. When Krue Seh happened on his watch (Muslim demonstrators murdered in the South) Thaksin declared from that point on, he would be personally in charge of any insurgent problem in the south. A bit later, while T was still PM, there was the even higher # of demonstrator deaths at Tak Bai. Did T take any responsibility? Ha ha, of course not. MCos
The Red Shirts and their political wing the Pheu Thai Party should be encouraged to explain the funding of their movement and where and to whom the money has gone. Furthermore the Yellow Shirts should also open their books to explain where their money came from otherwise there will be continued speculation as the the sources and recipients of the no doubt huge sums of money spent by both parties. In both cases - don't hold your breathe for any statements let alone honest responses.

Robby nz
Those who have called the red leaders liers need to rethink, this week they have proved they can tell the truth: As has been pointed out they promised to burn and that happened. They promised to run at the army with bare hands, yep they did that, didnt say they would have their hands in the air but thats a minor detail, Cant think of anything else though,
