Kitchen Builder?

I'm looking for a company in Pattaya that specializes in building kitchens. My contractor says that he can build anything I want, but only some of his workmen are any good.

The kitchen I want could almost be ordered out of a catalog, but I'm sure a specialist would do a better job.

I did talk to the marble top suppliers on Sukhumvit, but they say they only sell and install the top.

I'm also interested in other cabinets.

Best kitchens I have seen in Pattaya have all come from Kitchen Studio which is on the corner of Tapraya (Sp) Road as it turns down towards the beach in Jomtien - by far the most knowledgable guys and not as expensive as many would assume. They advertise a lot in local press and have a big team of people including their own competent designers. Front man is a Brit farang and he is very knowledgable. There after sales service is also very good.

They have a webiste but not sure of the address.

California Kitchens

Carrfour. Great workmanship, guaranteed and designs to suit your taste.

Highly recommended. Which I am very reluctant to do at the best of times.

Kitchen section ask for the California rep. Get the card then phone the office in Bangkok and cut out the middle man.

That's why I recommend them I saved C4's cut.

The appraiser came. One of the few true tradesmen I have dealt with in Thailand. Obviously have the quality assurance factor to live up to.

Personal opinion only I have seen other home builders go another way and sure enough water damage, untreated timber you name it.

California great range reasonable price top product.

Happy washing the dishes

I'd second this recommendation.

Buddy Decoration on Threpasit custom built my 4x4m teak kitchen for 110,000 baht including the black marble worktops, probably a quarter of the price of Decorum

Black marble or granite?

Excluding hotplates, oven, sink etc. or including?

Somehow I cannot see Buddy doing a teak kitchen for that price. He is good and for what he does he is reasonably priced but he is not cheap and more likely what you have got is predominantly teak veneered door fronts with a hardwood frame which he then very clevely paints and lacquers into what many people think is the real thing - For sure not true teak kitchen at anywhere near that price.
