Australian Visa For Thai Trainer

Featured Replies

hel_l, i am a kiwi Woman living here in los. I train Muay Thai and am about to go to Aussie to fight in a title match. I need to take my trainer with me , and i am sure that this isn't going to be a one off thing. My trainer is a Thai..he has been abroad to japan and china a few times fighting and has obtained a visa for these.

Every thing is orginised for us there . the only thing i have to do is his visa... i really dont know where to start.

Do i apply for a tourist visa? for him He will work there but i think i will be paid for it (in fight money)

Where do i start.

Mt trainer has 100,000 baht in his bank which has been there a while.

He has a job with the amphur too , so he can show he has a job to return to.

ANy help would be awesome

Thanks

Tracy

I dont think a tourist visa is applicable in his case, perhaps the sport visa is an option.
