Composer Kristofer Emerig Rumoured To Be Visiting Thailand

Featured Replies

Amid hushed tones among some Indiana faculty members last week, I was informed by reputable sources that composer Kristofer Emerig is rumoured to be traveling in Thailand, but the reasons for that voyage were shrouded in uncertainty and secrecy. I took a keen interest in this because I had traveled to Indiana to conduct an interview which took months to set up with this notoriously reclusive figure. In fact, to this day I have not been able to get even a clear answer on his country of origin, which has been by various accounts the USA, Germany, or Austria.

Further confusion has arisen over the nature of this sudden itinerary. Some claim that Emerig is a practicing Buddhist, some surmise that he has relatives in Thailand, while others claim that he has been driven from Indiana through religious pressures in response to his promulgation of Taoism and esoteric, at times occult, interpretations of Biblical scripture.

Being a western national myself, I am curious at the timing of this trip, in light of the internal strife Thailand has suffered in recent days. The two questions which arise in my mind are: Is this an ideal, with respect to safety time for westerners to vacation in Thailand? And - Is there some religious significance to the timing of this foray? Forgive my ignorance, but I am not a Buddhist, nor a Christian, for that matter.

So very very reclusive Ive never heard of him. Any update on what he dose, write's, sing's, play's, ect, might give the less educated among us a clue.
