We have used Hertz in Malaysia several times. Very friendly and professional service and decent rates.

I'd use them again.

Thanks for that, do they have an office at the Low Cost terminal? I'd rather not make the trek around to the main terminal if it's avoidable.

I wouldn't know. Last time we rented the car in Penang and dropped it of in the international airport. But you could try and contact them or look on their website. And perhaps make some kind of arrangement over the phone.

As we were looking for rentals, we saw that most rental companies require a fee if you drop the car off in a different location and Hertz actually give you a KL car in Penang if this is the case. So no extra fees with them either.
