There is a section of parking on B1 called Platinum Parking or something along those lines. Does anyone know how this works? Is it based on your spending at the Emporium. Is it something that you pay to get?

Mrs Soutpeel has something similar for Central group, and believe they had them out for money spent in store.....considering the amount Mrs Soutpeel has spent with Central suprised she doesn't have a personal valet as well to park the car LOL...

We always park there and don't have any special card.

If you drive a Honda, Toyota or similar car, 20 baht to the security guard helps I guess. More if you drive a Benz, Bmw, Rolls, etc.

Which explains why they are always full when a member with an Emporium Platinum card gets there.

Anyone can park there as long as they leave a tip.

So you are supposed to have some kind of identification but if you tip the rules are broken by the security/parking attendant?

again, what are the actual requirements for parking there for people not just bribing the parking attendant out of sheer curiosity.

we have been shopping at emporium for several years and have definitely spent over a million baht there.

In that case, you've probably over-spent by about 100,000.

You must have to be 'M Prestige' type of membership, I guess...

Same as other shopping malls which mostly have parking lots reserved for Credit cards- Prestige Class.

If you spent over million as you stated, best is you should go ask info from Customer service counter at Basement floor. Maybe you could upgrade your membership to higher class.

I have worked there many years, but hold only M normal card.

This doesn't bother me when I seen the drivers drove customers' cars...

ummm.. :) I prefer parking myself.
