Don't forget that both firms have also been fined billions of dollars for illegal activities including fraud. Recently as last month, MS was fined $1.4B and has just lost it's CEO, not to mention several key management people. You can argue that it's mainly in the investment banking side but i still wouldn't trust any of their analysts without my own due diligence. Make your bets but with better advice than from these two firms.
