jayenram
The large supermarkets here sell "champignon mushrooms" in tins. The company is called Thai A.D. Foods Co.

However, there are a couple of tom yams which include small button mushrooms so maybe they are available somewhere. I can't imagine the Thais using tinned ones. meadish_sweetball
If you cannot get them, you can substitute champignons for เห็ดหอม 'Hed Hawm' or เห็ดฟาง 'Hed Faang'. When Hed Hawm are picked young, they taste and look quite similar to the button mushrooms you get in Europe (better actually, I would say). Due to the warm weather in LOS they don't have as intense a flavour, but as a subsitute in recipes you'll probably not notice any difference.
