It's ฮั่นแน่. There are many variations though. อั่นแน่ อ้ะนั้นแน่ etc. they are carrying playful tone.

อ้ะนั้นแน่ . . . I think 'so thats what it is!' would fit fairly well, no?

That's very close. It is the kind of sound that difficult to write down exactly. The three variations fit your context just fine. Maybe it is also close to "aha!"
